Christmas Wedding Ideas

If you love Christmas and are planning on having a Christmas wedding, there are plenty of ideas here for you. From fun and festive ideas to ideas that reference the holidays with a little more subtlety, here are some ways for you to incorporate Christmas into your wedding.

For your wedding pictures, there are a few nice ideas that you can try. You can take photos in front of a Christmas tree. The bride and groom can take a picture kissing while both holding candy canes, an ornament, or some mistletoe.

When you are deciding on decorations, try to narrow things down to just a few choices. For centerpieces, you can use hurricane vases filled with ornaments or peppermints. You can also use tiny Christmas trees, poinsettias, or cute gingerbread houses as centerpieces as well. Escort cards can be tie to jingle bells, candy canes, or snowflake ornaments.

Snowflakes, pine cones, and Christmas lights are great decorations for a venue. Try to stick with lights that are just one color so the wedding still looks classy. Wreaths will make a nice decoration for your venue as well and you can hang smaller wreaths on the back of the bride and groom’s chairs. You can also incorporate pine cones into the bridal bouquet.

For an interactive food experience, set up a hot cocoa station for you and your guests. You can include a variety of mix-in ingredients like marshmallows, peppermint, chocolate chips, whipped cream, sprinkles, and chocolate syrup. You can even incorporate favors into your hot cocoa station by giving guests mugs, hot cocoa mix, gourmet marshmallows, or chocolate-dipped spoons to take home.
If you want your table names to be Christmas themed, try the names of Santa’s reindeer, your favorite holiday songs, Christmas movies, and cold weather countries or cities. You can also use quotes from your favorite holiday songs to decorate your venue.

Another wonderful favor idea for a Christmas wedding is a personalized ornament. For something edible, send guests home with gingerbread cookies of the bride and groom. For a favor that will keep your guests warm, send them home with personalized throw blankets. Other favors that will keep your guests warm include mittens, socks, and slippers. If you love plants, send your guests home with evergreen saplings that they can grow at home.

During the cold weather, you will want to feed your guests with nice, warm food. JRC, you have many options that will help you throw the perfect Christmas wedding. Choose from full table service or buffets and an assortment of finger foods and platters for your reception.

Alternative Bachelorette Party Ideas

For most brides, a bachelorette party is a rite of passage and it is a huge part of the traditional wedding experience. While there are no set rules on how a bachelorette party should be, it should ideally be fun and consist of a group of the bride’s closest female friends.

Most bachelorette parties involve dancing at clubs and sometimes even include hiring a dancer for your party. But if your bride to be is not really into these things, then you might want to try thinking outside of the box a little bit. Luckily, there are plenty of alternative options when it comes to planning a bachelorette party.

Your bride might be feeling some wedding stress. Let her blow off some steam at a shooting range. You can even try out archery. This is a great alternative for someone who is not into the typical bachelorette activities.

This next idea can be great fun for the whole group and it is a really thoughtful idea for the bride. Take the bride on a shopping trip and come up with a list of essentials for her wedding night and the honeymoon. You can even turn it into a bit of a scavenger hunt. Some ideas to put on the list for the wedding night include lingerie, a comfortable outfit for the next day, and even an outfit for the rehearsal dinner. Don’t forget really good conditioner that will help get out all that hairspray. Check this link right here now to learn more about wedding party ideas.

For the honeymoon, create the list based on wear the newlyweds are going. A beach getaway will need a bathing suit, sunglasses, and sandals while a skiing trip will need some good boots and other winter gear.

What if the bride would prefer a nice girls night in? You can do this by having an old-fashioned slumber party. You can even choose to have the slumber party at a hotel. Get everyone to show up in their favorite pair of pajamas.

If you want to take it a step further, you can even request that guests show up in fuzzy slippers or onesie pajamas. You can play games, watch a chick flick, and do your nails. If you want the spa experience, you can even get a mobile spa service to come to you.

For a truly luxurious experience, try having a catered bachelorette party on a private boat. Guests can take in the view while they eat and drink. Just Right Catering actually has plenty of experience when it comes to catering events on boats.

Unique ideas for bachelorette parties are endless. You can go on a road trip and spend that time to bond. You can even get really dressed up and have glamour shots taken by a professional photographer. Other fun ideas for bachelorette parties include scavenger hunts and private dance lessons, especially belly dancing and burlesque dancing.

At Just Right Catering, we don’t just cater the big, fancy events. We can cater the small, intimate get-togethers too, including your bachelorette party. From party and dessert platters to sandwiches and hot entrees, we offer a variety of dishes for the type of event that you want to have.

Corporate Birthday Planning

Every single person in your office has a birthday, so why not celebrate them all to make your employees feel special and appreciated?

When it comes to birthday celebrations, there are some traditions that are rarely ever broken. Many offices will often do the traditional cake, card, and birthday song for the celebrant. While it is a thoughtful gesture, it is one that is expected so much that it becomes a routine.

If your employee is the kind of person who can appreciate celebrations, you might even want to decorate their office space with some balloons and party streamers. Just avoid moving around things on their desks as people will not like having their belongings moved around.

Since cake or some other similar treat is essential for a birthday, you will want to make sure that you also have plates, napkins, a knife, and spoons or forks. If you are not allowed to eat food at your desks, then you can see if you can enjoy the cake in a meeting room or a cafeteria in the building.

Easy to eat foods like small appetizers are great to have around for an office birthday celebration too. At Just Right Catering, we have all of the food that you need for your office birthday party. From dessert to appetizers, our platters are perfect for any office celebration. Our dessert platters include a selection of assorted French pastries, dessert squares, jumbo freshly baked cookies, and baked strudel. If your birthday celebrant doesn’t love cake, our dessert platters will make the perfect substitute.

Our platters of appetizers and snacks include an assortment of Mediterranean dips, Mexican chips and dip, fresh fruits and berries, farmhouse cheeses, and smoked salmon. If you plan on celebrating in the morning, you can choose from our many breakfast platters. Our continental breakfast platter selection includes jumbo muffins, sweet and savory croissants, sweet and savory scones, fruit, and yogurt.

To add some more fun to office birthday celebrations, consider throwing in some surprises. Unique surprises that the birthday celebrant will appreciate are the best. Instead of expecting the same cake and song for each birthday, each employee will be kept on their toes and will genuinely be blown away by their birthday surprise.

When you give a unique birthday surprise to your co-workers and employees, you make them feel special and part of the corporate family. Even the smallest, thoughtful gestures can boost morale around the office.

If someone in the office has a birthday coming up, try to get to know what some of their interests are. That can help you figure out the perfect birthday surprise for them at the office. When you are planning something that will take more than a few minutes, you will want to let the office know ahead of time. That way, they can plan their day accordingly. You might also want to figure out the schedule of the birthday celebrant for that day as well in order to avoid taking time away from very important tasks and projects. Here's a helpful site to make birthday planning easier.

Client Gift Ideas

In the business world, it can be much easier to keep an existing client than it is to land a completely new one. While it is important to get new clients, you will want to make your current ones feel happy and appreciated by your business. Gifts are one of many ways that you can keep your clients happy. When picking out a gift for a client, there are always standard gifts that typically please everyone. But if you can really get to know your client, then you can go the extra mile by picking out something that you know they will enjoy.

If your client is a healthy eater, you can get them a gift basket full of fruits and healthy snacks. A tea lover would surely appreciate a basket stuffed with tea and cookies, while someone who likes sweets would appreciate a basket or box of gourmet candies or chocolates. When you pay attention to the little details, you might be able to figure out for yourself what kind of gifts your client will truly appreciate. These days, you can even give a client a gluten-free food basket.

There are certain gifts that can be potential faux pas for your clients. If you have a diabetic client, do not send them sweets unless they are sugar-free, and if your client abstains from alcohol, then do not gift them with a bottle of wine, no matter how nice that bottle of wine is.

Gifts for your clients do not have to always be big. You can give your clients pop-by gifts. Pop-by gifts are small gifts that are given to your clients in person. A pop-by gift will typically have a tag that has some catchy tagline written on it. The idea of a pop-by gift shows your client how invested you are in their business and can even result in your client giving referrals for you.

If a client remembers how well they are being treated, then they will be sure to refer your services to everyone that they know including family members and friends. Some ideas and taglines include a flashlight for service in a flash, and a coffee shop gift card with a tag that reads thanks a latte. For a notebook, you can say, it should be noted that you are a wonderful client. You can also give a keychain with a note that says your business is the key to our success.

You can also give your clients pop-by gifts during the holidays including Christmas, Halloween, the New Year, Valentine’s Day, and Easter. Any excuse to remind your clients that you appreciate their business is great. For Valentine’s Day, your note can read, I love having you as a client. Any holiday on the calendar is a great excuse to give your client a thoughtful pop-by gift.

On top of providing your clients with thoughtful gifts, you can also make them feel appreciated when they visit. Feeding your clients delicious, catered food will leave them feeling even more important to you as a client. From snack and dessert platters to continental breakfast platters and hot dinner entrees, Just Right Catering can provide you and your clients with gold star treatment.

Winning over and keeping your client

In the corporate world, fewer things are more important than your client and winning over a client can sometimes be as difficult as trying to walk on a tightrope. Before you even try to win over clients, you will want to make sure that you already have a winning strategy in mind. Try to avoid playing things by ear.
Even after you have landed a client, that does not mean that all the hard work is over. You still need to work to keep them happy. Remind them that they are valued and make them feel like a priority. Try to anticipate their needs and always show your respect for them. Try your best to perfect the art of listening and communicating effectively. Be confident and know your product and services inside and out. The words, “I don’t know” are some of the worst words that you can say to a client. While it is important to prepare a good presentation, be careful that you do not bore your client either.
More often than not, any potential client will have many other options besides you. Let this potential client know what makes your company and your product stand out from the crowd. Is it the attention to detail? Is it the skills of the people that you hire? What can you offer that no one else can? Figure out what makes what you are selling really special.
Another great strategy is making the effort to know who your client is. Check out our delicious corporate catering menus. Doing the proper research on your client will show that you mean business and that they are not just another paycheck to you. There are various ways to research your client including reading over their LinkedIn profile if they have one as well as thoroughly going through their website if they have one.
When you keep your client happy, you will be in a great position. Not only will you have this person’s business, they might even refer you to more potential clients. You can never underestimate the power of word of mouth when it comes to getting business.
Sometimes, a great product or service is not the only thing that you can offer to your clients. A great experience can make a huge difference in whether or not you gain their business as well. From a day playing golf to getting them tickets to a game, there are many ways to make your client feel special and valued.
Food is another way to make your client feel special. Find out what their favorite food is. Treat them to their favorite food the next time that you have to talk business. If you are having a presentation for several clients, then use a caterer who really knows how to go the extra mile. Find out if your client has any food allergies or dietary restrictions and be sure to let the caterer know.
At JRC, we can provide you and your clients with a wide assortment of delicious food. From freshly-prepared sandwiches, salads, and wraps to breakfast menus and a variety of platters, our dishes will add the finishing touches to your next presentation or meeting.

Corporate Awards Banquet

When you are running a company, it is important that your employees feel recognized and appreciated for their hard work and for the unique qualities that they bring to the table. Not feeling appreciated can make people feel less motivated to be productive and they might even feel tempted to find another company. While it is always nice to hand out an award for the Employee of the Month, it can also be really nice to throw a corporate awards banquet for your company and your employees.
An awards banquet will really give everyone a chance to dress up and feel special. Your banquet and awards ceremony should ideally include a master of ceremonies, a variety of awards, and good food to eat. In order to plan the perfect awards banquet, you will have to pay attention to a lot of details.
First, you will need to pick a date and venue. Ideally the venue should not be too far from the area in which your employees work and live. Since it is an awards banquet, you can try to rent a space that has a stage or you can rent out a venue that has enough space for a stage. If the venue does not have a stage, you can have one put in by a rental company.
For the banquet part of the event, you will also need tables, chairs, and linens, Just Right Catering can supply your banquet with all the accessories. If you really want to, you can even set a theme for the banquet. A Hollywood or red carpet theme might get people really excited to wear their best suits and dresses. You might even want to have place cards made for the guests who are attending. Don’t forget to send out invitations in a timely manner. If there is a dress code, do not forget to mention it.
You will also want to keep your employees entertained. Before you give out the awards, you can have live entertainment in the form of a comedian or musical artists. Depending on your budget, you might be able to afford a celebrity or you can even hire someone local who is still talented.
As for the awards, there are many possible kinds of awards to choose from. A leadership award, employee of the year, perfect attendance, best in sales, and rookie of the year award are always great ideas for any company. If someone is retiring, then you can give them a legacy award. If the budget allows for it, then you should throw in additional prizes for your award recipients. They can be anything from gift baskets and gift cards to vacation getaways. You can even send each guest home with adult favor bags that are full of fun trinkets like chocolate, travel mugs, keychains, and mugs with the company name.
While awards are great for company morale, it is also great to be rewarded with delicious food. At Just Right Catering (http://www.vancouvercatering.com), we can provide your corporate awards banquet with dishes that will be a hit all evening. From tasty appetizers and entrees to mouthwatering desserts, we can provide you with the full package for your banquet. You can even choose from a selection of our buffet options. Tips For Throwing A First Birthday Party

Planning your child’s first birthday celebration can be so overwhelming and exciting at the same time. Where do you even begin? Start out by planning at least a few months in advance. That way you will have time to ask friends and family members to save the date once you choose one. Keep in mind, what you want to serve your guests. Will you be preparing the food yourself or maybe hire a catering service?

Depending on the size of your party, you will either want to throw the party at home and perhaps have a catered barbeque or at a larger venue. Since your child will only be one, they won’t care where the party is as long as they are fed on time and get their nap. First birthday parties are more for the parents than anyone else. They are almost a celebration for making it through the first year.

How is celebrating a first birthday any different from celebrating any other birthday? There actually are a few traditions that people like to do for first birthdays. Which ones you choose to do, if any, is completely up to you.

One popular first birthday tradition is the cake smash. This involves putting the baby in the high chair, which is usually decorated with some bunting. You give the baby a tiny birthday cake and let them go to town on the cake. The whole idea is that the baby will destroy the cake and usually the parents will take lots of pictures.

Since a cake smash can get pretty messy, many people end up doing the cake smash a few days before the party. Some people even hire a professional photographer to snap pictures. If you want to do the cake smash ahead of time, you can print the pictures out and use them for the birthday party.

Because your baby won’t care about the details of their first birthday party, you might as well save a little money. You can make it a small intimate occasion by celebrating it as a dinner party. If your baby’s birthday falls around a major holiday, then you can use decorations for that holiday for the first birthday party. For example, if your baby’s birthday is in February, then you can use Valentine’s Day decorations for the party. You can even make the party Valentine’s Day-themed if you want.

If you don’t want to be too specific, you can also use decorations that are appropriate for the season like snowflakes for winter or flowers for springtime. It is a lot simpler than choosing a very specific theme and hunting down all of the decorations.

While adults can be used to parties that last for hours, remember who the celebrant is. A baby probably won’t enjoy a party that goes on for hours and if the party cuts into their naptime, then they will be cranky. Try to keep the party under 2 hours if possible.

Last of all, don’t forget about the food. At Just Right Catering, we can provide you with a variety of menus and platters that will suit your child’s first birthday party. From sandwiches and salads to a wide range of party platters, we can keep your guests well-fed while you tend to your baby on their special day.
